In this section, you will learn how to setup a notifications to your email or SMS enabled phone. NOTE: You must have a cell phone number and email address in your agent profile in the system for this to work properly. That information can be found here:

Once the correct email and phone number are entered for an agent, the agent must setup their particular notification settings. You must be logged in as the agent to setup notifications. So when you're ready to set these up, simply click 'Settings' on the dashboard's user bar:

With the 'Dashboard Settings' dialog open, click on the 'Notification Settings' tab:

Inside this dialog, click 'Create Notification' on the top left corner. You will see the 'Create New Notification' dialog:

This selection allows you to choose what type of notification you want to receive.

The following dialog displays the setup of 'New Lead' notification. You can set the scope (whether you want to track your customer's activity, another sales person, or the whole store) of a notification, the lead type, and how you want to be notified (via email, text, or in your Activity Stream pod), and whether you want to be notified outside of your scheduled working hours. In this example, the agent will receive notification via email any time, in the dashboard pod, and via text only during working hours, for any new leads that come into the system:

Make sure you click 'Save', and when it brings you back to the 'Dashboard Settings' window, you'll see the most recent addition with a highlighted NEW tag next to it. In the 'Dashboard Settings' window, you can update how you want to receive existing notifications, and whether email and text notifications should be sent outside of your scheduled working hours.
